In the webcomic, we see a lot more after the ending of the manga which includes Hori and Miyamura getting married. Horimiya: Season 2 could adapt the webcomic Hori-san to Miyamura-kun Omake. In comparison to the webcomic, the manga only covers about 20 percent of the entire story. The Horimiya manga is actually based on a webcomic by the creator Hero. The anime followed the same plot as the manga, and while it did miss out on a handful of content, the story now stands completed.

What Is Horimiya: Season 2 About? (Spoiler Alert) That will certainly take some time, and because of that, expect to wait a few years before Horimiya: Season 2 gets announced. For the anime to continue, CloverWorks or whichever studio lands the project will have to make something original. Hori and Miyamura graduating from high school was where the manga’s last chapter, chapter 122, ended. The first season had apparently wrapped up the entire manga’s plot in its 13 episodes, so as there’s no source material remaining, chances are strong there might not be a continuation. ORIGINAL STORY: As Horimiya: Season 2 is unfortunately not in the works, there’s no release date to look forward to. It will include scenes that were in the manga but we’re skipped in the original anime due to limitations, so it isn’t a sequel.

The new part is titled “ Horimiya: The Missing Pieces” and will be released in July 2023.

UPDATE: Horimiya: Season 2 still hasn’t been officially confirmed, but there is a new tie-in anime coming. Plus, the anime adapted all of the manga, so if the anime ever returns, it’ll likely be an original story or something similar.
